According to a forecast of the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange, the soybean production in Argentina will reach 48 million tons in 2022/23 (43.3 in 2021/22).

- In 2021/22, barley exports from Kazakhstan were only 427,000 tons, which is 60% less than in 2020/21. 194,000 tons were sent to Iran, 100,000 tons to Uzbekistan, and 84,000 tons to China.

- As of 09/25/2022, 28% of the planned first corn crop areas (+5.8% for the week and 26.5% a year earlier) were planted in Brazil, according to AgRural data.

- According to Abirtigo's forecast, in the next 10-15 years, Brazil will increase wheat exports to 10 million tons. By 2030, production will reach 20 million tons.

- According to a forecast of the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange, the soybean production in Argentina will reach 48 million tons in 2022/23 (43.3 in 2021/22). Corn production is expected at 50 million tons (52), and wheat production is projected at 17.5 million tons (-21.9%). Soybean areas will reach 16.7 million hectares (+0.4), and corn areas are estimated at 7.5 million hectares (7.7).

- In 2022, the import of sunseed oil in China will decrease by 50% compared to 2021 and will reach 500,000 – 700,000 tons (1.28).

- Iraq has announced a tender for the purchase of 50,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin. In the previous tender, 100,000 tons of wheat were purchased from the United States at a price of 494 USD/ton C&F and delivery within September – October.
