- During the week of October 23–29, the export tax on wheat from Russia will be 2,121.2 rubles/ton (1,872 a week earlier), the export tax on corn will be 2,671.7 rubles/ton (2,782.2), and the export tax on barley wil lbe 389.7 rubles/ton (392.8).
- In October, 5.4 million tons of wheat will be exported from Russia (5.1 a year earlier) according to a forecast by Rusagrotrans. Between July and October, exports reached 20.3 million tons, setting a new record above last year’s 20.2 million tons. Last week, the FOB price of Russian wheat with 12.5% protein was 235–238 USD/ton (+3 compared to the previous week), French wheat was at 250 USD/ton (+3), the FOB price of Romanian wheat reached 247 USD/ton (+4), and American wheat was priced at 263 USD/ton (+7).
- From July 1 to October 21, 2024, Ukraine exported 12.04 million tons of grain (8.333 million a year earlier), including 2.57 million tons in October (1.58 million). Exports included 7.228 million tons of wheat (1.13 million in October), 1.673 million tons of barley (0.35 million), and 3.844 million tons of corn (10.8 thousand).
- In Belarus, 1.9 million tons of corn were harvested, with an average yield of 7.87 tons/hectare.
- According to data from FranceAgriMer as of October 14, 2024, soft wheat sowing in France has been carried out on 10% of the planned areas (32% a year earlier and 27% on average over the last five years). Winter barley sowing has been completed at 20% of the planned areas (45% and 42%). The corn harvesting campaign has been completed on 13% of the areas (67% and 55%). Crop conditions remain unchanged, with 78% rated as good and excellent (83% in 2023).
- According to a forecast by Anec, Brazil will export 4.686 million tons of soybeans and 2.474 million tons of soymeal in October.
