According to Abitrigo's estimates, Brazil's wheat imports reached 447,500 tons in September (594,100 in August).

- In their November report, analysts from Strategie Grains forecast a sunseed production in the EU of 10.16 million tons in 2021 (9.95 in the previous estimate), which is 16% more than in 2020. The rapeseed production is projected at 16.97 million tons (17.03 in the previous estimate and -2.2% compared to 2020). The ending stocks of rapeseed are expected to fall to 0.7 million tons.

- According to USDA data, as of 31.10.2021, 87% of the planned areas for winter wheat have been sown in the United States (+7% for the week). 45% of the winter wheat crops are in good and excellent condition (46% a week earlier and 43% a year earlier). Corn has been harvested on 74% of the areas (+8%) and soybeans have been harvested on 79% of the areas (+6%).

- Yesterday, commodity funds in Chicago were net buyers of 13,500 contracts of corn and 14,500 contracts of wheat and soy neutral.

- According to Abitrigo's estimates, Brazil's wheat imports reached 447,500 tons in September (594,100 in August). Corn imports from Argentina were 391,300 tons (537,900). Over the period of January - September, corn imports were 4.87 million tons (4.97), including 4.17 million tons from Argentina.

- According to data from Safras & Mercado, as of October 29, 2021, 72.4% of the planned 4.38 million hectares (+8.7% for the week) were sown with corn in Brazil.

- According to data from the Grain Exchange in Rosario, as of October 28, 2021, 12% of the planned areas or 16.2 million hectares have been sown with soybeans in Argentina. The indicator is at its lowest point for the last 15 years.
