According to data from the European Commission, over the period 1.07 - 24.10.2021, 8.98 million tons of soft wheat were exported from the EU, which is 24% more than the previous year - 7.23 million tons.

- According to the forecast of Ukroliyaprom, the production of sunseed oil in Ukraine will reach 7.1 - 7.2 million tons in 2021/22, which is 24.13% more than 2020/21. 6.55 - 6.6 million tons of oil will be sent for export.

- According to data from the European Commission, over the period 1.07 - 24.10.2021, 8.98 million tons of soft wheat were exported from the EU, which is 24% more than the previous year - 7.23 million tons. The main buyers were Algeria with 1.28 million tons, Egypt with 1.01 million tons, South Korea with 822,000 tons, Nigeria with 522,100 tons and South Africa with 447,000 tons. The largest exporters were Romania with 3.2 million tons, Bulgaria with 1.5 million tons and Germany with 1 million tons. During the same period, exports of corn from the EU totaled 1.17 million tons (544,500) and corn imports reached 4 million tons (5.4).

- Yesterday, commodity funds in Chicago were net sellers of 4,000 wheat contracts and net buyers of 1,000 soybean contracts. For corn, the balance was neutral.

- According to local analysts, the soybean production in Brazil will reach 143.75 million tons in 2021/22 (+5.5% compared to 2020/21).

- On 25.10.2021, the authorities in China sold 891,938 tons of wheat at tender, which is 88.5% of the offered quantity at an average price of 371 USD/ton.

- Syria has announced a tender for the purchase of 200,000 tons of milled wheat.

- According to AmSpec Agri Malaysia, 1.2 million tons of palm oil were exported from Malaysia over the period of October 1 - 25, which is 8.5% less than the previous month - 1.3 million tons.
