Authorities in Algeria have taken an important step in lowering grain quality requirements (increased percentage of damaged seeds by insects), which will allow Russian wheat to participate.

- According to unofficial information, Turkey has purchased 325,000 tons of corn at prices of 310.45 - 322.9 USD/ton C&F and delivery within 20.12 - 20.01.2021.

- According to data from FranceAgriMer, as of November 8, 2021, the sowing campaign of winter barley in France has been completed on 94% of the planned areas (+4% for the week). 99% of the crops are in good and excellent condition. Winter wheat is now sown on 87% of the areas (+7%), and durum wheat has been sown on 38% of the planned areas (+13%). At the same time, corn has been harvested on 83% of the areas (+10%).

- Algeria has announced a tender for the purchase of milling wheat. Authorities have taken an important step in lowering grain quality requirements (increased percentage of damaged seeds by insects), which will allow Russian wheat to participate.

- According to the forecast of the Australian Federation of Oilseeds AOF, the rapeseed production in Australia will reach a record 5.035 million tons in 2021/22, which is 18% more than the previous record of 4.276 million tons set in 2020/21.

- Over the period of January-September, 2.417 million tons of sunseed oil were exported from Russia. The largest export was made in March and it reached 494,700 tons.

- Egypt has announced a tender for the purchase of 30,000 tons of soyoil and 10,000 tons of sunseed oil with delivery within January 10-30.
