The plans were not realized due to high prices. Deliveries will be made within the period of 10.03 - 08.04.2022. Deliveries from Russia and Ukraine have been suspended.
- According to preliminary data from traders, Algeria has bought 250,000 tons of durum, and the price is within 625 - 630 USD/ton and delivery in April. In addition, Tunisia bought 100,000 tons of durum at a price of 634.89 USD/ton C&F, according to traders.
- The authorities in Egypt have confirmed that Russia and Ukraine continue to implement the agreements on the supply of wheat to the country. A Russian ship with wheat is on its way to Egypt, and Russian authorities have assured Egyptians that a Ukrainian ship with wheat will be allowed to travel to the North African country.
- The Egyptian government has sent an inquiry to the authorities in Kazakhstan regarding the purchase of 500,000 tons of wheat (delivery parameters, grain quality, prices). - Jordan has canceled a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of feed barley of any origin. The next tender is scheduled for February 15, 2022.
