According to data from SEA, as of March 1, 2022, vegetable oils stocks in Indian ports reached 490,000 tons, which is the lowest level since April 2021, when they were 463.00 tons.

- In January 2022, 98,100 tons of barley were exported from Russia (221,700 in January 2021 and 469,000 in January 2020), including 48.64% for Libya and 31.78% for Turkey.

- As of March 1, 2022, grain stocks in Kazakhstan reached 9.12 million tons (10.05 months earlier).

- The American companies Cargill, Bunge and ADM are partially suspending their operations in Russia. Food companies remain operational.

- According to Safras & Mercado, as of March 14, 2022, sales of corn from the second crop in Brazil reached 24.8% of the expected production of 83.34 million tons (35.7% a year earlier).

- According to the forecast of Safras & Mercado, wheat areas in Brazil will reach 3.64 million hectares, which is 33.4% more than the previous year and will be the second highest result in history after the record of 3.91 million hectares set back in 1986/87. The wheat production is projected to reach 10.79 million tons (+40%).
