According to Oil World's estimate in October, the total export of soyoil from Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, the United States, and Ukraine reached 386,000 tons, which is the lowest level in the last 10 years (compared to 559,000 in September and 466,000 in October 2022).

As of November 21, 2023, the winter grain crops in Ukraine cover an area of 4.605 million hectares, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture. Wheat is planted on 4.022 million hectares, while barley covers 506,000 hectares. By November 14, 2023, winter rapeseed has been sown on 1.159 million hectares.

In the current season, the corn production in France is 12.5 million tons, marking a 13.5% increase compared to the previous year. Sunseed production is the highest in the last 25 years, reaching 2.1 million tons, showing a 19.4% increase compared to 2022 and a 36.7% increase over the average for the period 2018 - 2022.

According to Fedoil data, oilseed processing in the EU in October amounts to 3 million tons, a 1% decrease compared to September but a 7% increase compared to October 2022. Since the beginning of 2023, oilseed processing in the EU is 32 million tons (30.4), including soybean processing of 11.2 million tons (11.9), sunseed processing of 4.9 million tons (4.1), and rapeseed processing of 15.9 million tons (14.5).

Corn harvesting in the United States has been completed on 93% of the total areas. Winter wheat has been sown on 95% of the planned areas, with 48% of the crops in good and excellent condition, a 16% increase compared to 2022.

As of November 16, 2023, soybean planting in Brazil has been completed on 68% of the planned areas, showing a 7% increase for the week and 80% compared to the previous year, according to AgRural data.

In October, China imported 5.16 million tons of soybeans, a 25% increase compared to October 2022, including 4.81 million tons from Brazil and 228,260 tons from the United States. Since the beginning of the season, imports have reached 83.97 million tons, a 15% increase, with 59.68 million tons from Brazil (a 71% increase) and 17.78 million tons from the United States (a 2% decrease). Corn imports in October were 2.04 million tons, including 1.8 million tons from Brazil. Wheat imports reached 660,000 tons in October, a 47% decrease, but a 38% increase since the beginning of the season.

Jordan purchased 60,000 tons of hard wheat at a price of 273.5 USD/ton C&F with delivery at the end of January. The initial tender was announced for 120,000 tons.

Tunisia has announced a tender for the purchase of 100,000 tons of milling wheat and 75,000 tons of feed barley with delivery within December - January.

In October, Brazil exported 83,000 tons of soyoil (155,000 in September and a total of 2.1 million tons since the beginning of the year), while Argentina exported 225,000 tons (315,000), reaching a total of 3.4 million tons since the beginning of the season (3.9).
