This decline is attributed to adverse weather conditions in the Black Sea region, hindering the processing of ships.

As of November 24, 2023, Russia has harvested 146.3 million tons of grain (bunker weight). The result for the same period last year was 155 million tons. The harvested wheat is 94.7 million tons, harvested barley reaches 22 million tons, and harvested corn is 14.3 million tons.

The condition of winter wheat crops in Kazakhstan is assessed as good to very good. Soil moisture is optimal, and temperatures have allowed the plants to develop normally.

The soybean production in the EU for 2023/24 reaches 2.7 million tons, a very satisfactory result. However, imports remain high at 16 million tons, covering 85% of the union's consumption.

Safras&Mercado has reduced its soybean production forecast in Brazil for 2023/24 by 1.9 million tons due to unfavorable conditions, reaching 161.4 million tons, which is 2.2% more than 2022/23 and a record for the country. Hedgepoint lowers its forecast by 2.2 million tons to 160.1 million tons. According to the Oil World forecast, soybean processing in Brazil in 2023 is expected to reach 54.5 million tons, a new record for the country (50.9 in 2022). For the first 10 months of the year, the indicator is 45.88 million tons. Exports are projected to be 99.8 million tons (92.78 in the first 10 months).

Iran has purchased 50,000 tons of Russian corn with delivery from December to February, in addition to the earlier purchase of 120,000 tons of corn. The price for the previous batch is 337 USD/ton C&F. Additionally, 60,000 tons of Brazilian soymeal were bought at a price of 609 EUR/ton C&F.

Bangladesh has announced a tender for the purchase of 50,000 tons of milling wheat of unspecified origin, with delivery 40 days after the contract signing.

Pakistan has announced a tender for the purchase of 110,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin.
