The areas harvested with barley reach 6 million hectares, 15 million tons of barley were harvested at an average yield of 2.5 tons/hectare.

A year earlier, the average wheat yield was 3.58 tons/hectare. According to a relatively accurate calculation, the wheat production should be within 71.5 - 73 million tons. The sowing of winter crops 2022 was carried out on 671,000 hectares.
