Barley was harvested on 6.7 million hectares, 16.4 million tons of barley were harvested at an average yield of 2.45 tons/hectare (2.84). 27.70 hectares were harvested with corn, 122,900 tons of corn were harvested at an average yield of 4.43 tons/hectare. 185,900 hectares were harvested with sunseed, 268,000 tons of sunseed were harvested at an average yield of 0.144 tons/hectare (0.152).

- The European Commission has lowered its forecast for the EU soft wheat production in 2021/22 to 127.2 million tons from 127.7 million tons in the previous estimate and 117.2 million tons in 2020/21. Exports are projected to reach 30 million tons (27.3 in 2020/21). The EU barley production is estimated at 52.9 million tons (52.6) and the corn production is predicted at 71 million tons (72.8). Corn imports in the new season are expected to reach 14.5 million tons (14). - Turkey has purchased 300,000 tons of wheat with a protein of 11.5% and a price of 327.90 - 336.69 USD/ton. Only 25,000 tons of wheat with a protein of 12.5% ​​and a price of 341 USD/ton were purchased (prices are under C&F conditions).

- According to the forecast of Oil World, the sunseed production in Turkey will reach 1.8 million tons in 2021/22 (1.5 in 2020/21). Sunseed imports will be 1.02 million tons (0.85) and sunseed crush is projected to reach 2.6 million tons (2.27). In 2020/21, Turkey imported 162,000 tons of sunseed from Russia (583,000 in 2019/20), 159,000 tons from Moldova (111,000) and 315,000 tons from the EU (217,000).

- Egypt's state-owned company GASC has received offers to buy 30,000 tons of soyoil at prices within 1,242.36 - 1,332 USD/ton C&F.
