As of November 7, 2023, in Ukraine, 4.386 million hectares have been sown with grain crops, including 3.867 million hectares of wheat, 442,000 hectares of barley, and 76,000 hectares of rye. In the last week, planting was carried out on 175,000 hectares. Rapeseed has been sown on 1.144 million hectares.
In 2023/24, the global production of durum wheat will be 31.3 million tons, which is 8% less than in 2022/23 and the lowest in the last 20 years.
Yesterday, Chicago commodity funds were net buyers of 1,500 corn contracts, 6,000 soybean contracts, and 1,250 wheat contracts.

Syria has signed a contract to purchase approximately 1.4 million tons of wheat from Russia.
Saudi Arabia has purchased 710,000 tons of wheat from Saudi producers outside the country.
