Yesterday, CBOT SRW wheat and corn futures prices fell and Chicago soybean futures prices slightly rose. In Paris, wheat and corn futures prices decreased notably and rapeseed prices increased significantly.
As of August 6, 2021, 21.7 million hectares of cereals have been harvested in Russia, 68.2 million tons of grain have been harvested at an average yield of 3.14 tons/hectare (3.47 in 2020).
According to the latest forecast of ProZerno, the grain production in Russia in 2021 will be 123.3 million tons in 2021, including wheat production of 77.1 million tons, barley production of 18.9 million tons and a corn production of 14.6 million tons.
