The production is estimated at 16.64 million tons (-21%), with the lowest level recorded in 2013/14 at 11.05 million tons. Imports are expected to rise by 163,000 tons to 2.60 million tons, while beginning stocks are projected at 2.99 million tons, the lowest since 1999/2000. Domestic consumption is forecasted at 14.01 million tons (-934,000 tons).

The Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries forecasts palm oil prices in 2025 to range from 904 to 1,130 USD/ton. Prices will be influenced by stagnant production in Indonesia and Malaysia. A market deficit is expected to drive prices higher. Current prices are approximately 1,130 USD/ton, supported by floods in Malaysia, plantation efforts, and increased demand due to biodiesel production.

According to the Rosario Grain Exchange, Argentina’s 2024/25 soybean production is expected to be 53–53.5 million tons, corn production is estimated at 50–51 million tons, and wheat production is projected at 18.8 million tons.
